The dummest thing I have ever heard

My TikTok fy page has been filled with “what you should do for glow up in the next year”. Trend of being the IT girl is holding up strong as Gen Z discovered Gossip Girl and Sex and the city tv shows. So as a millennial girlie, I couldn’t help but wonder what is perfection for the IT girl nowadays?

Is it a clean girl aesthetic or a mob wife? Somehow patriarchal narrative got us thinking that we will succeed once we are perfect. Not too thin, not to thick, natural but copy-pasted faces, with style but not too loud. Sexy but not too sexy… you get the drift, I’m sure.
And the weird vow that we collectively seems to take:
Why would I celebrate this win now if I can celebrate when I’m perfect.
The dummest thing I have ever heard.
That altogether led to this never-ending run for perfection. Starting 1st of January, Monday, once I quit my job, once the blue is in the sky. One things we kind of fail to remember and accept is that perfection is an ever-changing target.

What doesn’t change is the feeling of being confident which is directly resonates with you being comfortable in your skin. Just like Jacquemus is an easy going with his flowing and unstoppable creative, same as Coco Chanel said this is enough of shirts. I am wearing the pants now. Bitch, bye!
Ones you are like that (your-relaxed-self) — you thrive your energy glows the fuck to outta space. You become unstoppable force. It naturally unfolds. Personal style is something that we learn and develop not solely based on trends but on your feeling. The vibes if you will.
When I ask my clients what they like their immediate response thrives in descriptions of what they absolutely don’t like and would never wear in their lives (no shades to my clients, obviously). Although, the real answer is not that simple.

You need to dig deeper. You really must to do so.
And I don’t know about you, but I was told I am “too much” way many times. Was enough of for me to lose myself many times just to rediscover myself and that truly allowed me to dig deeper to understand WHO I am and WHAT I like.
That is crucial in order to discover your personal style. To discover YOU.

So I am humbly inviting you to join the Hot Mama Bakery and join the most welcoming community of them all.
Together, we laugh, learn, and level up, building wardrobes that reflect not just trends, but individuality. The HMB community is about reminding you who you are: a baddie, a boss, or maybe both — and doing it all with flair. Style isn’t just what you wear; it’s how you carry yourself. And at HMB, we’re carrying ourselves with confidence, luxury, and a little sprinkle of Hot Mama magic. Because you already perfect just need a little push and embrace it.
That’s all.
Okay, love you, bye xo
