If no one is coming to save you, then no one is coming to stop you either

On this week’s episode, I was paralysed with an anxiety attack for 16 hours.
Pros? I lost 2kg because I couldn’t make myself eat, and my body was under so much stress, probably the same equivalent of me running a marathon (can I actually count it as one?) Do not try it at home, nor tell my nutritionist.
Cons? I was paralysed and staring at the white wall in complete silence. Not something I would recommend.
Truth be told, in my early 20s, I was suffering from severe panic attacks. But then I was trying to distract myself by doing absolutely anything, a trick that helped me to calm myself down. But maybe I have healed so much, as we all say these days, that sitting in silence is what calms me down? I used to hate silence (thanks, childhood trauma). Now it is my strong companion when I need it to be. How the tables have turned.
Funny enough, putting on a good WFH fit that fits the vibe and all my protective jewels kinda helps, but it’s not a guarantee that will pull you out of that state. It’s only you, babes. Here is the raw truth. No one is coming to save you but you. It’s just a decision. The choice is yours. And if no one is coming to save you, then no one is coming to stop you either. So might as well fuck around and find out what it’s like to live your best life unapologetically.
Simple enough? Yeah, right. No one tells you that the decision should be CONSTANT. Which apparently means all the fucking time. But once you do make that decision, it is very helpful to have someone in your corner to help you with areas in your life that make you feel your fucking best. And perhaps to take a little bit of the load from your beloved bestie.

Here where I come in. Because I do truly believe that it is way more fun to live your best life every day in the best possible outfit every day. Back in the day, way before I started doing personal styling for a living, I made myself a promise to dress up as I was about to meet my celebrity crush or if I suddenly died that day, whichever I was in the mood for on the day. Which kinda helps, that is just a little trick I use to push myself to wear not just whatever, but expand my horizon and add some creativity. And as we can see, I did not die once, but I definitely met some celebrities (yes, including my crush).
And we know how overwhelming that could be.
But no need to panic, you got your stylist bestie right here, to take that load and show you all the tricks and share all the knowledge that you need to dress every day to meet that crush of yours. I was also recently thinking that my writing is not what it used to be (I am sometimes my worst critic). But hey, sometimes we don’t really need this long-ass metaphorical newsletter, when most of the time, all we need is simplicity of words. Those usually get us out of bed, make us truly see where we are lacking, and give us the reason to change.
Now onto the honourable mentions this week:
