MAKE A STATEMENT for f*ck’s sake

If you have kids, I hope you are sending them back to school so I can enjoy child-free spaces again. Soon enough it will be cooler and rainy again in London and the darkness will creep from behind starting at 4 pm.

I know, don’t cry. My suggestion is to mentally get back to the sunny Italian wedding of Chuck Bass and his now wife. Ed is the king of manifestations for me. If you have seen Gossip Girl (a series of the week for yet summery autumn) and have heard his interviews — you’d get it.

This got me thinking about love, relationships, and how I completely gave up on dating a year ago while kind of making my peace with not finding my man, my soulmate in this life (for all I know, he might be dead or something (in this life). All now is pointing to it, since, as a traditional millennial I am yet again to witness a breakdown in a society where meeting people organically is nearly impossible (I heard you need to leave your house for that, no thank you) and dating apps, so as LinkedIn, are the biggest schemes of current time.

Think about it. Both kinds show you that it is possible to fall in love and have a 100k+ paying corporate job, where the company is “like family” and you get a slice of pizza and a beer every other Thursday, and he is not actually a 6'5 nice guy but a misogynistic 5'5 bigot.

Then, of course, the article from Atlantic found me. This therapist/writer asked their clients “What would you do if you looked at the crystal ball and saw yourself meeting your soulmate exactly in 10 years, what would you do in that spare time?”

The answers were differently the same — relax and enjoy the present moment.

After all, meeting your person has nothing to do with your achievements, trauma healing progress, etc. Meeting the right person is merely an act of luck.

I heard that way before this article, hence, I quit the dating world and absolutely relying now on my soulmate (hopefully he is still alive and well) to literally knock on my door. Don’t worry, in my scenario, it’s not “You” creepy. Just a next-door hot neighbor.

Anyway, what got me thinking, now that I have all this free time from not being exhausted by the weight of the toxic culture of situationships, whatshould I do with my time?

MAKE A STATEMENT (weekly fashion tip).

My mentality changed. Now that I stopped dressing for the male gaze, I started to experiment even more than usual with my looks, fashion, etc. Becoming more creative in general and looking even more feminine than ever. My mind is free. I do it all for myself. Just like Miss Osaka did in her latest game.

My point is relationships might not be permanent but your style is forever.

That last phrase was definitely giving Samantha.

Now, I’d rather help you find your true inner identity (book now) whether you are single or in a loving relationship. To show you how to present it to the world and simply enjoy yet another Calvin Klien campaign with Jeremy Allen White(you are welcome). To sum it all up for you, never have I ever wanted to be water so much in my life.

We need to learn how to do things for ourselves only.

On that note, I will end my weekly gibberish talk.

That’s all.

Okay, love you, bye xo

Your slightly nonchalant fashion stylist,
