For the past year or so I used to get more and more introverted. So I would joke that I am retired extravert. Little did I know all of that was caused by my present in the environment that I was very much unhappy in, which led to my personality just lock itself in and barely show the nose to the outside world.

Did I mentioned already that quitting corporate was the best decision ever?

And obviously it got me to thinking that I do the same with my style (and I’m sure you do the same). The minute I am unconfortable, all I want is to feel comfortable at least somewhere in my life. And clothes is the fastes way to do so. It won’t take a whole science thing to point out the obvious — clothes is the most direct representation of how we feel and want to look.

I also remember that I would feel discouraging when I would think of a cool outfit and since I was working from home majority of the time , I would rarely wear any of those because the moment was gone and I have thought of a million others that would keep me excited in the same way. But ones my schedule went crazy, the need for creativity to survive starting my day at 5:30 coming back to bed at midnight while fully functioning, I was starving for the actual physical and mentally to dress up.

And yes, my give a fuck is on a forever vacation, I do not care that I wear something that is “not really for the day but rather an evening”, because STFU — it makes me happy.

Besides London has gone ridiculously grey already and we all need to spark the unbearable core misery of Londoners during the winter with some colour and boldness.

I said what I said

Which brings me to the point of you executing that wardrobe of yours for the winter to the full fucking potential. Take all of your stiff smelling sweaters and coats, and whatever you have for winter and firstly reevaluate what are you going to be wearing this winter season and what not.

Whatever ended up on the “Yes” pile — try it again and see if that fits, if you like how you look in it, and if that still represents YOU!

Now, what I personally do for winter is layering. Which means rechnically I wear croptops during winter (I can hear my granny’s gasp if she could hear me say that). Layering is your best friend if you just not a big fan of wearing 7 sweaters for the next 3–4 months. Who would have thought that being a little cute cabbage would be so stylist.

While I am on this topic, here is your not so gentle reminder to DRY CLEAN all of your winter outwear at the BEGINNING of teh winter season. Please and thank you.

Now, my queens, who are looking for not just a weekly quick fix on how to improve your style but to stay consistence with it. Wouldn’t it be amazing to have someone hold your hand and help you stay in that consistency?

I would like to offer you 25% discount for first 3 months for any of Hot Mama Bakery subscription. I’ve learned hard way how to build habits, you don’t have to learn it same hard way. Instead, I am going to hold your hand and make it easy for you. I will be your bestie that has the best interest in heart for you to not only blindly follow my styling expertise, but learn more about yourself and how to style yourself.

If you read this far and want to claim your 25% discount — DM me on Instagram or TikTok a phrase that you can only see in this post which is…

Life isn’t perfect but my outfit is.

And that’s it, 25% off is in your pocket and you just made me the happiest girl (the offer expires on 7.12.2024).

Now I work as a bee nearly 60–80 hours each week to make this beautiful thing to come through and true. And we are on the topic of self improvement and investments — the book of the week is Girls that Invest.

And in a scientific conclusion, all I have to say is that once you are in your purposeful place — you want to blossom and open for people, which make it official for my extravert core to come back out and share and share and share ❤

That’s all.

Okay, love you, bye xo

Your slightly nonchalant fashion stylist,

Aya x
