I just checked the analytics and seems that me going to see well-known celebrities who then take off their clothes is quite popular on the internet and various platforms. I see two solutions here. One for you, one for me.

One for you.

Go ahead and read the “I just saw Kit Harington naked” post. While I will try to do my best to be in places where celebrities take off their clothes. London should be one of the places for such activities for sure.

That one was for me. I promise to share all I have seen with my own eyes.

While I am trying to arrange for myself a date and then tickets to see “Shifters” where Little Simz and Idris Elba are one of the producers of the play, I am wondering how Little Simz doing it all. She is making music, productions, exhibitions, movies, TV series, etc. and then there is me. I am somewhere on a George R.R. Martin level in the conversation with Stephen King with all of my writing, content, one enormous Style Guide (that is me dropping a secret on you, keep an eye on updates), and so much more stuff that I do that stays behind the screen.

And while I keep playing in my head the interview in my head and trying to have, at least, 6 pages down every day, the time seems to be slipping away(song of the week) so fast from me that I might put in the request for an extra 8 hours in a day, so that I can use those for sleep or something. Building multiple empires is not for everyone.

Look at that, so humble. But seriously, ask Beyonce to send me the form of the application.

Anyway, the September issue has arrived, Fashion weeks have started all over the globe, and this got me thinking about the whole misconception of fashion, history, and business structures that a lot of people disregard. Especially, as a work of a stylist (personal or branding).

I have met a lot of people in my life and the main misconception. From back in the day when fashion me was a form of self-expression and more like a hobby, to the present day, when I am a certified specialist in the fashion industry. Actually, there are two.

  1. Fashion is just crazy and very much uncomfortable outfits that cost ridiculous money and nothing more.

  2. Personal Stylists will try to turn you for a copy of themselves completely stipping off your core.

First of all, history and fashion are as tight together as the sky and the sun. As galaxies and planets within each. One doesn’t exist without the other.

I am not here today to give you a history of fashion lecture, we don’t need to go as far as the present day.

Ukrainian Fashion Week not only had a fashion week while there is a full-on scale wаr is happening but represented wаr veterans and heroes who unfortunately have lost their libs on the front line defending others.

Everything that is happening in the world: economy, crisis, etc. has a direct effect on fashion.

Secondly, you can’t change a person’s core. This point is proven by so many life examples. So if you have ever heard about a stylist who made a person switch from a total black wardrobe to floral prints and bright colours without the consent of a client — that was not a stylist but a manufacturer. A dangerous one.

A personal stylist doesn’t want you to be like anyone else (unless it is what you want to be) but will find a spark within you and help you show it to the world through clothes and accessories. Because guess what, there is no one like you in this world. Even if you have a twin. We are unique and this is what matters. One item of clothing can be represented in a million ways depending on so many factors.

After all, clothes are just tools that help you to show off you. A personal stylist is a friendly mentor who just knows the science behind fashion and is ready to hear you, and your needs, and create something wonderful for you. With YOU!

So don’t be afraid, come on in, water’s fine. Book a consultation now to get an idea of where to start. Imagine you are waking up In Five Years (book of the week) or tomorrow and you have a full wardrobe of clothes yet nothing to wear.

Fashion tip of the week — get yourself a Stylist x

And while I am back to work and creating content on Statement pieces (check on my socials) I wish you to always get all the sleep you need in a day and don’t be afraid of a change. It always leads to pleasant and unexpected results.

That’s all.

Okay, love you, bye xo

Your slightly nonchalant fashion stylist,

Aya x
