We need to talk.

Since I have neurospicy brain (read neurodivergent), it automatically means I have about 178 tabs open in my brain at the same time (big plus, I usually know from which tab the music is playing). Which also means it is a blessing and a bunch of toxic traits at the same damn time. The most popular toxic trait so far is jumping to assumptions. The assumption in question is... since I know something, everyone around me knows it as well.

Literally messes up with my business.

So this newsletter will be dedicated to all the ecosystems I swim in. I hope you know a little bit about yours truly by now. In case we have never met, I do have a post about me. Here, go take a read before you continue this one.

How did it all start? And by all, I mean the Fashion Scientist brand. Glad you asked.

It was April of 2024. I can't remember the weather or anything like that because your girl was too focused on the very first lecture from one and only Rita Muradova. I used my bonus money I got from corporate, in late February and immediately jumped on the opportunity to join the next flow of students at ModeisMe school.

Little did I know a year later I would be messaging my teacher/mentor/good friend of mine with eyes full of tears after my work ended up being on the cover of a magazine (I will not shut up about it, trust me).

But that first lecture, about 30 minutes in, she said something, and in the instant, it clicked for me. The name of the brand, the structure, the mission, the vision, all of it. Even though

It was blurry at the beginning, but I knew I was going in the right direction.

So what is a Fashion Scientist if you peek behind a funky name?

FASHION SCIENTIST is me, my personality, my talent to see the spark that’s hidden deeply in You. It is all my silly yet very funny jokes, the ability to “in-root” that confidence in you and train it like we are going for the Olympics together. My dyslexia and the very early 2000s associated flow, aka give me Carry Bradshaw rushing for lunch in New York City. Or in other words, a personal & brand stylist. Where Fashion meets science. Expertise helping you discover and embrace your identity.

1-1 work in-person or online, tailored fashion advice for you: wardrobe review, capsule wardrobe planning, shopping guidance, you name it. Think of it as a styling image consultant.

I make a bet here on authenticity and personality because, after all, the brand is me, and there is no me without this mission now.

Once I started working with all my clients and gaining experience, I saw the tendencies of life getting in the way and slowly but silently dragging them back to the cosy spot right at the centre of their toxic traits of dressing in "whatever". Essentially, a few of them were back to where we started.

Important to stress here that those are not to anyone’s fault nor any lack. Working with a personal stylist is a form of therapy. No joke. So sometimes it is okay to have a bad outfit day or go back to the old version of you.

Those thoughts were spiralling in my head to the point where I went to the very beginning and took a look at my goals and vision for the business, which were a mandatory part of the diploma work at ModeisMe. Turned out the answer was there all along.

To create a safe, free of judgment community that will allow people to connect globally, explore their fashion and styling taste and develop a confident persona.

And there it was. Written on the final work. Same click. All stuck together in a matter of seconds. The Hot Mama Bakery was born. Within a year of developing the service, I heard a few times that the name doesn't speak to people. They are confused. They won't "get it". But that's the whole point. You join us unsure of what's happening, and then you are flourishing among like-minded people. Besides, not only is the name essentially one of the best compliments I received, it is also giving this sort of, what I like to call (read just made is one up), confused mystery.

And I think it's beautiful. But if I am being slightly more serious, Hot Mama Bakery is such a big passion project for me. Here is why.

HOT MAMA BAKERY is building your personal style into a habit. As exciting as it sounds, my main goal behind it was to make it affordable. Imagine a friendly and supportive community that helps every person, regardless of their resources, to feel confident and self-expressed in their style. All for a price of a cup of coffee a week. More on pricing here.

Explore yourself, define and evolve your style, and use fashion to elevate your life.

Community supports you throughout the journey you take at your own pace. All of that and so much more you can find in there.

So, to sum up, HMB is a subscription-based project. Breaking the perception that personal styling is out of reach for most people. While covering a variety of topics in fashion with weekly styling theory, practice activities, ready-to-wear weekly guides, and so much more (can't share too much, girl gotta keep you intrigued).

But Aya, what about your personal creative outlet? Does Artist's Way teach you nothing?

There are three months of work. While all of you, I truly hope, had the best vacations this summer and were sun-kissed too many times, your girl remained pale as ever while working on growing her creative portfolio. And the results are insane. The number of times I had to sit there and cry out of an overwhelming state of gratefulness...best cries ever.

CREATIVE AGNENCY. [NO NAME]

No name yet. Playing around a few though.

However, this is where storytelling thrives on limitless expression—where brands, businesses, and personal brands unlock their most innovative potential. Rooted in fashion but designed to transcend industries. We are here to merge storytelling, strategy, and striking visuals to craft unforgettable narratives. You don’t have to worry about the team. I yap for a living, so I've got everyone you need anywhere geographically.

I just wanted to be able to express what I have inside, too. I think millennials call it balance or something like that.

Doing something out of the box, having my vision emerge with others and creating something utterly magical.
More than an agency, it's a movement.

Stay tuned for more. In the meantime, here is a tiny look at my PORTFOLIO that is constantly growing.

Sheesh, I think that's it for now.

Thank you for letting me let it all out of my brain today.

Always a pleasure.

And in case you wanted to chat with me about anything, I happen to have FREE calls available to book. Just to give you a little more guidance on which next step will work best for you.

Okay, that’s all.

Love you, bye xo

Your neurospicy fashion stylist,

Aya x
