So what do I do now that tech industry killed me? Easy. I take all of that experience and start my own journey.
Hey bestie!
Welcome to my first ever Blog post (I mean since my rebirth in this new season of me keeping up with me) and I invite you with me on this journey.

Let’s start with technicality and non-basic introduction (that’s what chat GPT told me to do). This is a blog slash weekly newsletter where I would like to capture my personality, silly jokes, and incorporated TikTok jokes (the only corporate I will be using from now on). In addition, I would love to build a community of besties and haters (I’ve heard it’s basically the same but talking about inclusivity) to breakdown on some fashion tips, keep you up with latest news, and my weekly picks for variety of things I adore in my daily life. So take it as a little bit of this, a little bit of that type of writing and philosophy from yours truly.
But I am getting of track (story of my life and self-diagnosis of ADHD). If we have not met in real life and I haven’t sent you “Subscribe” form to “test it”…
My name is Aya and after 7 years of corporate and start up manager job I left to not completely go crazy (joke is on me). It was a rainy (surprise-surprise) London day in February where I got my bonus money and decided to put an end to this. So being a true Product manager — I started with a list of ideas. Thought to myself, I need to come up with 5 things I really enjoy doing and see what can potentially bring big money. The second I got curious what would be number one on the list — it hit me.
Fashion. Why fashion? Great question.
I attended my first ever fashion show when I was 14 years old and, mind you, it was Fashion Week. And no, I am not a nepo baby with a trust fund (thanks for nothing, parents!), my mom was working for a fashion designer and she always got free tickets.
That was the beginning of my forever relationship with fashion (sometimes love, sometimes hate). Pretty quickly, I leanred that fashion is direct representation of what’s inside of our soul. Needless to say, I truly understood that concept waayyyyyy later in life (you do not want to see those outfits from back in the day. Jk, here is a TikTok video). And just like that, after I was horribly traumatised by low rise jeans, I began to try out different things to expand my style.
Huge impact on me were, of course, tv, movies, and music. Btw, album of this week goes to Eminem. I am sure we all as millenials just ultimetly happy and in peace now. Though don’t get it twisted, favourite song is still “Not Like Us”.
Where was I? Right. Different countries, income, development of personalities (look up in a dictionary alter-ego), and digging deeper into my brain with help of therapy made me be obsessed with confidence and womanhood (which imo includes not only straight women, size XS/S). Which led to second step of a great Product manager — strategy.
Now back to that Ferbuary rainy day in London, once I thought of fashion, the entire concept came to me. The structure, the name, the end goal, the school for education, and most importantly — what I want to give to my clients. I want for all of my good people out there to be comfortable and stylish (almost rarely includes crazy outfits). So taking a huge leap of faith (I left my career with no savings, duh) I enrolled to a wonderful school ModeisMe. Graduated and practiced with everyone I know. And here I am. Pouring to you my soul but not giving a legal name.

As a Pisces, I trusted my intuition to take that leap and it took me this far already. Leaped all the way to having a first booked and paid client yesterday for Travel Wardrobe Planning. Also, on one of the podcasts I listened was said it is second Full moon in a row in Capricorn today, which means it advised to keep grounded and probably great time to clean up your closet. If you don’t know what to do and need a makeover — book Wardrobe Consultation NOW! (Step 3 from a great Product manager — CTA = call to action).Speaking of podcasts. Podcast of the week is BOF, specifically this episode. Great and simple explanation for Haute Couture and ready-to-wear differences.
That’s a lot of links.
But if we are not doing the most then what are we doing? Onto another exciting fashion news. Damson Idris has new photos with Prada in FW24 as their Ambassador obvi. Your are welcome :)
Lewis Hamilton named Dior Ambassador and it’s just yum and yum. Also, about damn time.
Coperni (those who did spray-on dress on Bella Hadid) will close Spring 2025 season at Disneyland (Paris). Can you just imagine attending fashion show in Disneyland. It is first time for the magical amusement park to host. If anyone wants to invite me — I am all in. Thank you very much :)
All these hot and sweet news are bringing me to my few last points.
Series to watch — Becoming Karl Lagerfeld
Brand I discovered this week and love — VOL
Fashion tip of the week: if you want to have your day-to-day looks more elevated — start adding mixed metal jewellery (start with a belt buckle or bag details.
Now I hope you enjoyed my gibberish nonsense and learned something new today. Tell friend to tell a friend Aya’s series new season is out!
Follow me on socials.
That’s all.
Okay, love you, bye xo
Your slightly nonchalant fashion stylist,
Aya x
