Style is comfort. If done properly, never the opposite

Last week, on top of spending my entire weekend (day and night literally) doing big girl things, aka taxes, I also took one of the biggest leaps of faith in myself and sent a serious email.
The weirdest and most important thing turned out to be a lack of fear. Well, a complete absence of fear, if I am being frank with you all. I sent the email late at night, and although I don’t have the answer yet, the action on my end felt calm.
Very liberating in a way.
It’s funny to me sometimes how my neurodivergent brain works. When it comes to small decisions, I can be so damn indecisive, but once I need to make a huge, usually life-changing decision, not only am I calm, but the decision is clear as day to me.
No second-guessing, no anxiety. Just inner knowledge. I call her my intuition. And she never fails me.

Exactly how I felt the need to make a decision to move counties every single time. This time was no different. I just knew this was what I needed to do. The audacity that I need to embody.
And I might still get overwhelmed when it comes to picking out my outfit of the day (yes, some days, me too, thinking what to wear best, my brain generally generates dozens of outfits every time, and I become so indecisive), but once I know deep inside what I need, it’s no brainer.
The fastest, easiest decisions of my life.
All this leads me to my point that you already know who you are or who you want to be. Deep inside, you’ve got the answers. You most likely just need to sit down and think for a bit, and most definitely someone to lead you through that. Because it will get overwhelming at first. There will be tons of noise, consideration of others, you’d say, “my life is boring/busy/etc, I don’t have time to look stylish”. That’s to give you a sum up of the most common excuses I hear.
But would you deny yourself? And most importantly, WHY would you deny yourself? Remember that in case of an emergency on all the planes without exception, you first need to assist yourself and then help others. So how can you be the best version of yourself if you don’t know who you are and what you want, instead you are moving at a convenient speed and wear whatever.
Style is comfort. If done properly, never the opposite.

Since the beginning of April, I have been participating in this challenge that found me on TikTok, and it is the founder, workbook, and daily practices actively changing my life (we are in May now, and things just keep expanding). It had an exercise about 4000 weeks. Let me explain.
On average, a person, if lucky by common standards, gets to live around 4000 weeks. If you do a quick math, you will get to see how many weeks you’ve lived and how many are left. Not the easiest exercise to be confronted by, but it alters your brain chemistry. It really does. Kuinda is similar to that mentality that I embody. If I drop dead today, is this what I’d like to be wearing?
And once you see that number that is allegedly left for you, would you capture it or just let it slip?
